Water Safety FAQs
How often should kids attend swim lessons?
Consistency is key to children retaining information and making progress! We recommend children attend swim lessons once a week for consistent learning and skill development. Families can choose the right level for their child, including swim lessons for preschoolers and swimming lessons for school-aged kids.
What water safety skills should kids learn first?
Safer swimming is rooted in core skills like breath control, floating and body coordination, which build the foundation for swim strokes they learn throughout lessons. For families focused on preschool water safety or water safety for toddlers, these early skills help children become more comfortable and confident around water. As children progress, professional swim lessons can continue building on that foundation.
