We are so excited to launch this year’s Safer Swimmer Pledge at Goldfish Swim School and to see our communities come together in the name of water safety and drowning prevention!

We launched the first annual Safer Swimmer Pledge in 2021, intending to spread awareness of water safety and drowning prevention beyond our four walls through swim lessons and community education. It was an instant hit! People across North America were pledging to be safer in and around the water, entering to win amazing prizes, and sparking donations to learn-to-swim programs and charities.

In the last 5 years, over 55,000 kiddos, parents, team and community members have taken the pledge, committing to being safer in and around the water. 27,000 of those pledges were made last year alone! Together, our Goldfish families and friends in 170+ communities have helped raise over $60,000 for learn-to-swim grant programs and initiatives focused on drowning prevention. 

But we’re not done yet! This year, we’re ready to make an even bigger splash with new partners, new prizes and BIG goals for water safety awareness!!

We’re so excited to welcome Great Wolf Lodge as one of this year’s partners! They know firsthand the importance of water safety, with their family-friendly indoor water parks operating year-round. Great Wolf Lodge will be helping us to spread water safety tips throughout the month of May and are offering families exclusive discount codes for their next family getaway (jump into the details below!).

Every Child A Swimmer: Making Waves for YOUR Community

Every Child A Swimmer has been an incredible partner to us already, combining forces with us to allow more than 2,000 underserved children to get access to swim lessons! 

This outstanding organization will help make sure that every pledge taken this year translates directly into swim lessons for children who need them, right in your own community — promoting both water safety and drowning prevention at a local level.

Here’s how it works:

💧$1 per pledge – Donated by the Goldfish Swim School Franchise to Every Child a Swimmer (ECAS)
💧Up to $10 per Great Wolf Lodge booking – Donated straight to ECAS when a pledge-taker books using their exclusive promo codes.
💧All donations stay local – If your local Goldfish Swim School collects 500 pledges, $500 will go directly back to your community in the form of learn-to-swim scholarships.

Our partnership with Every Child a Swimmer has provided swimming scholarships to over 1,200 kiddos!
