At our swim schools, we understand that you may have a lot of questions and we’re here to answer all of them. We want you to trust us to take amazing care of your child and help him or her grow socially, emotionally and intellectually while having a whole lot of fun. We hope that the answers we provide to the following FAQs offer all of the information you need.

What is the difference between swim lessons and a swim team for kids?
Swim lessons focus on learning foundational swimming skills. A swim team like Swim Force emphasizes endurance, teamwork, and performance training while preparing swimmers for organized swim meets.
Do kids need advanced swim skills before joining a competitive swim team?
Yes. Most swimmers entering Swim Force have completed advanced swimming lessons within our program and demonstrate strong stroke mechanics while swimming multiple lengths comfortably.
How often do youth swim teams practice?
Swim Force swimmers typically attend one structured team practice each week, helping them maintain consistent training while balancing school and other activities.
Are swim meets required when joining a swim team?
Quarterly swim meets are part of the Swim Force experience and give swimmers opportunities to apply their training in a supportive team environment.
How competitive is a swim team for kids ages 5-12?
The program introduces children to competitive swimming while focusing on skill development, teamwork, and confidence-building rather than intense competition.
