Alex Ciminaro

Assistant General Manager | Swimologist

Coach Alex attended the University of Pittsburgh, graduating with a BS in Psychology. She has worked at Goldfish for six years, four of them at the Malvern location. Alex loves spending time with friends and family, reading, yoga, sleeping, dancing, singing, and meditating.

She wanted to work at Goldfish because she has loved being in the water her whole life, and she loves to see kids learning and discovering new things! She would describe herself as empathetic, determined and ambiverted.

Seth Dippold

Assistant General Manager | Swimologist | Certified Lifeguard Instructor

Coach Seth went to Edinboro University and studied psychology. He enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog. He is also a big movie fan.

Seth wanted to work at Goldfish because he loves all things water! He wanted to share that passion with the youth of a community. He describes himself as honest, understanding and passionate.

Coach DeLisa

Swimologist | Front Desk | Deck Supervisor | Lifeguard | Swim Instructor

Coach DeLisa went to Cabrini University. She enjoys drawing, crochet, reading and being with family and friends.

DeLisa wanted to work at Goldfish because she enjoys being a lifeguard and teaching children. She especially enjoys seeing their excitement when completing a goal with their swimming. She would describe herself as patient, caring and flexible.

Coach Jay

Swimologist | Deck Supervisor | Lifeguard | Swim Instructor

Coach Jay currently attends Delaware Community College, and they want to study art. Jay’s hobbies include digital art, listening to music, watching cartoons, and formerly scuba diving.

Jay wanted to work at Goldfish because they used to be a competitive swimmer and teaching kiddos their love for swimming was an amazing opportunity. They describe themself as artistic, loyal and passionate.

Coach Emily

Coach Emily attended college in PA. Her hobbies include reading, cooking and baking, and spending as much time with her sons as possible. 

Emily wanted to work at Goldfish to make a difference in the lives of swimmers and their families like Goldfish has done for her and her sons. She describes herself as conscientious, sincere and compassionate.

Coach Adasha

Front Desk | Lifeguard | Swim Instructor

Coach Adasha is currently doing her masters in Nursing with a Clinical Leader focus. She enjoys reading, shopping and cooking.

Adasha wanted to work at Goldfish because her dream career was always to work in healthcare with kids, so she thought Goldfish would be a good fit for now since she can work with kids, get CPR and First Aid certified and keep kids safe! She would describe herself as diligent, strong-minded and silly.

Coach Alex

Coach Alexandra is currently in college, studying for a BA in Psychology. From there, she would like to go into law school. Some of her hobbies are reading and writing. She also enjoys embroidery and painting.

Alex’s main reason for working at Goldfish is her love of working with children. They are so very smart and are able to learn so much in such a short time! The three words that describe her would be creative, friendly and passionate.

Coach Alexus (Lexi)

Coach Alexus went to college for Pre-K to 4th grade education and recently became a licensed aesthetician. She loves reading! She also enjoys baking, being outdoors or online shopping.

 Alexus wanted to work at Goldfish because all she’s ever known is working with children. This is her 3rd job, also being a morning nanny and full time preschool teacher. She would describe herself as encouraging, creative and determined.

Coach Ben

Coach Alia

Coach Alia is currently studying to become a Physical Therapist. Her hobbies include reading, spending time with friends, and spending time outdoors.

Alia wanted to work at Goldfish because of her love of children and swimming. She thought this would be a great opportunity for her to do both! She would describe herself as determined, kind and independent.

Coach Ari

Coach Ari currently is currently in college majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Spanish. Her hobbies include playing basketball, shopping and playing with her dog. 

Ari wanted to work at Goldfish because she loves working with little kids and helping them learn. She would describe herself as funny, kind & energetic.

Coach Chelsea

Coach Chelsea currently attends college as a nursing and pre-med major. She would like to work in labor and delivery, pediatric nursing or radiology. Her hobbies include shopping, building Legos and spending time with friends.

Chelsea wanted to work at Goldfish because she enjoys working with kids and wanted a new working environment. She would describe herself as passionate, hard-working and caring.

Coach Gitzel

Deck Supervisor | Lifeguard | Swim Instructor

Coach Gitzel will be starting college in the fall. She would like to become a Veterinary Assistant. Gitzel’s hobbies include sketching, listening to music, karate and martial arts. She likes to move around.

She wanted to work at Goldfish to get new experience in working with others and teaching others her knowledge. She would describe herself as creative, generous, and respectful.

Coach Jahnye

Coach Jahnye is a Criminal Justice major. She enjoys reading and taking walks.

Jahnye wanted to work at Goldfish because she used to work at a summer camp, and she missed having a positive impact and teaching kids. She would describe herself as organized, efficient and helpful.

Coach Jalyn

Coach Jalyn is currently in nursing school and is working to become a pediatric psych nurse. She likes to travel and is adventurous.

Jalyn wanted to work at Goldfish because she loves to swim and help people. She also enjoys working with kids and helping them learn an important skill. She would describe herself as kind-hearted, adventurous and caring.

Coach James

Coach James is currently in high school. He wants to study criminal justice in college. His hobbies include ice skating, bowling and swimming.

James wanted to work at Goldfish because he wanted to use his skills in a work environment and gain experience. He describes himself as kind, responsible and reliable.

Coach Jessica

Coach Jessica went to Avon Grove Charter School and Delaware County Community College for Early Childhood Education. Her hobbies include painting, all things Disney, going to conventions and going to the movies.

Jessica wanted to work at Goldfish because she likes swimming and thinks it’s a very important skill. She also loves watching kids learn and grow. She would describe herself as joyful, energetic and forthright.

Coach Jonathan

Deck Supervisor | Lifeguard | Swim Instructor

Coach Jonathan is currently in high school. He is not sure where he wants to go to college yet, but he is interested in studying Biology or Physics in college. He is a 3-season runner, enjoys catching up with friends, working out, playing cello and occasionally setting off model rockets. 

He wanted to start working at Goldfish to begin building a career. His friend works here as well and knew the environment would be friendly and kind. He would describe himself as committed, energetic, and open to learning.

Coach Lexy

Coach Lexy recently graduated from college and is planning to go to Medical school to pursue a career in Medicine. She enjoys kayaking and paddle boarding, hanging out with friends and family, and reading.

Lexy wanted to work at Goldfish because she was looking for an engaging and fun work environment. She describes herself as enthusiastic, persistent and vibrant.

Coach Leticia

Front Desk | Lifeguard | Swim Instructor

Coach Leticia is originally from South Jersey. She will be a college senior in the fall. In the future, she wants to use her Sports Management degree to make sports more enjoyable for kids. Leticia’s hobbies include playing soccer, working out and taking pictures.

She wanted to work at Goldfish because she likes being around kids, and she likes bringing a smile to their faces while teaching them something new. Leticia describes herself as talkative, friendly and optimistic.

Coach Tobias (Tobi)

Deck Supervisor | Lifeguard | Swim Instructor

Coach Tobias is currently in high school. When he graduates, he plans to go to college for set design. His hobbies include swimming, video gaming and theatre. He is also a black belt in taekwondo. In the summer, he likes to go surfing.

Tobias wanted to work at Goldfish because he really likes teaching people to learn new things, and he loves to be in the water. He describes himself as friendly, active and kind.

Coach Wesley

Coach Wesley is currently in college studying Secondary Education. His hobbies include tennis, LGBTQ+ advocacy/politics, and jigsaw puzzles. 

Wesley wanted to work at Goldfish because he wanted a different and more meaningful and important job than most teenagers (like retail or fast food). He wanted to gain experience working with kids as he wants to go into a career in education. He would describe himself as an advocate, kind, open-minded and hard-working.

Coach Grace

Coach Grace studies Early Childhood Education. Some of her favorite hobbies include baking, running, hiking and fishing.

Grace wanted to work at Goldfish because working with children of all ages has been a passion of hers since she was little. Teaching them a valuable skill like swimming is a great bonus! She would describe herself as outgoing, smiley, and supportive.

Coach Julia

Coach Julia graduated from Millersville University. Her hobbies include reading, volunteering at her church and attending an exercise class called Mojo Fitness.

Julia wanted to work at Goldfish because her first job as a teenager was a swim instructor, and almost every job since has involved working with children.

Coach Julie

Coach Julie is currently in high school. She would like to go to community college and study Marketing. She loves hanging out with family and friends, going shopping and she likes to draw sometimes. 

Julie wanted to work at Goldfish because she loves working with kids and seeing them happy and laughing. She would describe herself as funny, really nice and loving.

Coach Sophia

Coach Sophia will be starting college in the fall. She would love to be a criminologist or a cop. Her hobbies are painting, softball and swimming.

Sophia wanted to work at Goldfish because she loves to work with children, and she loves to help them improve their swimming skills. She describes herself as hard-working, a leader and caring.

Coach Suzie

Coach Suzie is currently in high school. She is not sure where she’d like to go to college yet, but she wants to study Medicine. She likes to read and crochet in her free time. 

Suzie wanted to work at Goldfish because she likes making people’s day better. She would describe herself as creative, caring and helpful.

Coach Talon

Coach Talon is currently in high schooll. He plays soccer, squash, lacrosse, water polo, and swims. Talon also enjoys reading and riding his bike.

He wanted to work at Goldfish because he enjoys working with kids, and he has a lot of free time in the summer. Talon would describe himself as kind, enthusiastic and caring.

Coach Abby

Coach Abby is currently in high school. In the future, she wants to go into Child Psychology. She likes to be outdoors and to read.

Abby wanted to work at Goldfish because she likes being able to work with kids, and she loved swim lessons when she was little. She would describe herself as kind, happy and excited.

Coach Advay

Lifeguard | Swim Instructor

Coach Advay is currently in high school. He wants to go to the University of Pennsylvania and work in Finance in the future. Advay enjoys going to the gym, playing basketball, hanging out with his friends and family, and playing with his dog. 

He wanted to work at Goldfish because as a kid, he really enjoyed going to swimming lessons. He always appreciated his instructors, so he wanted to be that person for others. Advay would describe himself as passionate, outgoing and energetic.

Coach Alexandra

Coach Alexandra would like to be a lawyer someday. Her hobbies include running, reading, playing with her cats, family night board games, video games, and sleeping.

Alexandra wanted to work at Goldfish because she wanted to be around kids and help them learn to swim because swimming is super duper fun! She would describe herself as athletic, determined and playful.

Coach Alexia

Lifeguard | Swim Instructor

Coach Alexia is currently studying to be a Nurse. Alexia loves painting, drawing, swimming, hanging out with friends, and overall, just having fun and making happy memories.

She wanted to work at Goldfish because she loves swimming and teaching kids to swim sounded like a fun job, as well as a way to teach others to love swimming as well. Alexia would describe herself as blunt, kind and funny.

Coach Ali

Lifeguard | Swim Instructor

Coach Alison (Ali) attended the Rochester Institute of Technology, studying Motion Picture Science. They loved learning, but they’ve done just as much learning outside, and in odd jobs and places they never thought they’d be. Ali’s hobbies include backpacking and hiking, arts and crafts, and frolicking.

Ali wanted to work at Goldfish because the idea that they could help kids learn a practical and lifelong skill, while having fun and splashing around, made Goldfish a great place for them. There is nothing better than learning while having fun! Ali describes themself as silly, dancey and kind.

Coach Amelia

Swim Instructor

Coach Amelia is a senior in high school. She would like to eventually become a Physician’s Assistant. She is not sure where she wants to go to college yet, but she would like it to be somewhere warm!

Amelia loves hanging out with friends, shopping and Legos. She wanted to work at Goldfish because she loves working with kids and has always loved the water. Amelia describes herself as respectful, funny and extroverted.

Coach Ashley B.

Lifeguard

Coach Ashley is currently in college studying psychology and minors in exercise science. She hopes to work in a clinical setting or sports psychology. Ashley’s hobbies include crocheting, reading, exercising and music. 

She wanted to work at Goldfish because she wanted to get more experience in helping kids learn to grow. She thinks it’s very rewarding seeing them learn something new. Ashley describes herself as friendly, compassionate and funny.

Coach Bailey

Coach Bailey is currrently studying Finance in college and will probably go into Finance in the future. Bailey’s hobbies are swimming, lifting, boxing and video games.

Bailey wanted to work at Goldfish because he’s a swimmer, and he thought it would be a good fit. He would describe himself as determined, funny and a swimmer!

Coach Cait

Lifeguard | Swim Instructor

Coach Caitrin (Cait) is in college studying Cell Biology and Biochemistry. As of now, she would like to go to Medical school and become an ER doctor in the future. She likes to bake, sail, ice skate, crochet, watch documentaries and go on long walks with her dog. She also loves spending time with friends!

Cait wanted to work at Goldfish because she finds it rewarding to work with kids. She also loved to go swimming as a kid, so it seemed like a great fit. Cait describes herself as calm, thoughtful and reliable.

Coach Debargho

Lifeguard | Swim Instructor

Coach Debargho is currently in  high school but wants to go to University of Illinois Urbana Champaign for Engineering. His hobbies include Taekwondo, reading mystery books, video games and playing sports like football and basketball. He would describe himself as funny, smart and nice.

Coach Dhruthi

Swim Instructor

Coach Dhruthi is currently in high school. In the future, she wants to work in the medical field. She plays volleyball, runs and loves to bake. 

Dhruthi wanted to work at Goldfish because she enjoys working with kids, learning new things, and she likes to swim. Three words that describe her best are that she’s patient, responsible and calm.

Coach Ella

Swim Instructor

Coach Ella is currently in high school. She enjoys math and science, so in the future, she would love to do something with those subjects. Ella plays for a club volleyball team and travels for tournaments. She also plays piano.

Ella wanted to work at Goldfish because she loves working with kids, and she has a lot of fun in the water. She would describe herself as organized, responsible and caring.

Coach Erin

Coach Erin is currently an Accounting Major in college. She loves live music and anything crafty. 

Erin wanted to work at Goldfish because she feels working as a swim instructor is very rewarding. It gives her the chance to make a difference in kids’ lives. She would describe herself as enthusiastic, detail-oriented and motivated.

Coach Jayden

Swim Instructor

Coach Jayden is currently in middle school. Later in life, he wants to work as a cook for those less fortunate. Jayden likes cooking, fishing, and hanging out with others. He also loves reading Mangas and books that interest him.

Coach Jayden wanted to work at Goldfish because he wanted to teach others to swim, so he could help save lives. He also wanted to follow in his brother’s and sister’s footsteps. He describes himself as smart, simple and kind.

Coach Keira

Lifeguard | Swim Instructor

Coach Keira currently attends college where she is majoring in Biology on a Pre-Med track. She plans to be a family physician. Keira plays field hockey (she is a goalie) which she is also playing in college. She loves going to the gym and hanging out with her friends.

Keira wanted to work at Goldfish because she loves coaching and working with kids in fun environments, and she wanted to practice managing a job, school and field hockey. She would describe herself as passionate, motivated and resilient.

Coach Kelly

Coach Kelly graduated from high school locally. She is currently working at an equestrian barn, learning how to be a barn manager. Her hobbies include horse riding and hiking. 

Kelly wanted to work at Goldfish because she believed she could make a positive impact here. She describes herself as hard-working, honest and loyal.

Coach Keyan

Lifeguard

Coach Keyan is in his senior year of college. He is studying Business Management and Financial Accounting. Some of his hobbies are playing basketball, video games, traveling, reading and collecting shoes.

Keyan wanted to work at Goldfish because he loves working with kids and loves swimming. Goldfish has a strong foundation and a great team that he thought he would love to be a part of. He describes himself as outgoing, mindful and motivated.

Coach Khloe

Lifeguard | Swim Instructor

Coach Khloe went to the University of New England in Maine. She studied to become an Athletic Trainer. Khloe loves to bake, cook, sew and do crafts. She also loves snorkeling and diving.

 Khloe wanted to work at Goldfish because as a child, she was a competitive swimmer and she loved being in the water. Khloe describes herself as kind, helpful and happy.

Coach Lauren

Lifeguard | Swim Instructor

Coach Lauren went to high school locally. Currently, she is currently in college with a major in Chemistry and Biology and a minor in Japanese language! Lauren enjoys color guard! She participates in the WCU Incomparable Marching Band and performs in the Independent group, Mainline Independent. She also enjoys sewing and reading.

Lauren wanted to work at Goldfish because she enjoys coaching and instructing. By teaching, you can directly impact people and change lives for the better! She would describe herself as outgoing, driven and ambitious.

Coach Lily

Lifeguard | Swim Instructor

Coach Lily is currently in high school. She would like to someday teach kids at a zoo. Lily enjoys figure skating, drawing, playing bass guitar, reading, crochet, and going to concerts.

Lily wanted to work at Goldfish because she loves working with kids, and would like to do so in her future careers. She would describe herself as loyal, hardworking and creative.

Coach Linh

Coach Linh is currently in high school. In the future, she wants to do something in the medical field. In her free time, she’s involved in many music-related activities. 

Linh wanted to work at Goldfish to help kids learn to swim while also using it as a learning opportunity for herself. She would describe herself as positive, friendly and careful.

Coach Maggie

Coach Maggie is currently studying Marine Biology in college. Her hobbies include swimming, surfing, hiking and pretty much anything that involves the outdoors and the ocean!

Maggie wanted to work at Goldfish because she loves being around the water, and she wanted to share her passion for swimming. She would describe herself as confident, kind and energetic.

Coach Mary

Coach Mary attends college in Connecticut, where she studies English Literature and Political Science. In her free time, she enjoys singing with her college choir, reading and acting.

Mary wanted to work at Goldfish because of the community fostered by the staff and members alike. She would describe herself as cheerful, driven and personable.

Coach Norah

Swim Instructor

Coach Norah is studying as a Therapeutic Recreation major in college. She loves to read, listen to music, play softball and do arts and crafts.

Norah wanted to work at Goldfish because she loves to be in the water and thinks it’s important to learn to swim and have fun. She would describe herself as tall, patient and funny.

Coach Penyon

Coach Penyon is currently in high school. He eventually wants to become a Doctor. His hobbies include mountain biking, wood working, wire working and swimming.

Penyon wanted to work at Goldfish because he loves to swim and wanted to pass on his knowledge. He would describe himself as creative, energetic and tenacious.

Coach Rebecca

Coach Rebecca is currently a freshman in high school. Her dream college is West Chester University, and she would love to work in education someday. Rebecca’s hobbies are painting, art, and reading. 

She wanted to work at Goldfish because it combines two of her favorite things, teaching and swimming. Rebecca would describe herself as fun, caring and artistic.

Coach Sai

Coach Sai is currently in high school. She wants to go to Johns Hopkins University to study Public Health. Sai likes to sing, paint and write.

She wanted to work at Goldfish because she loves to work with kids, and she loves being a lifeguard. Sai would describe herself as excited, empathetic and passionate.

Coach Sam

Coach Samriddhi (Sam) is currently in high school. Her dream colleges are UMich and UMD. She wants to study aerospace engineering and dance when she grows up. Sam’s hobbies are dancing, swimming, cooking and shopping.

She wanted to work at Goldfish because she loves swimming. She’s been looking to start working, and she also loves to play with kids. Sam describes herself as thoughtful, creative and fun.

Coach Simon

Lifeguard

Coach Simon is currently in college studying Psychology. His hobbies include fencing, swimming, metal working, choir, gaming, Dungeons & Dragons and reading.

Simon wanted to work at Goldfish because he has nine cousins, and they all learned how to swim before learning how to read. Goldfish’s mission of helping kids feel confident in the water is something that’s close to home for him, and he is excited to contribute! He describes himself as compassionate, tenacious and multi-faceted.

Coach Sindu

Coach Sindu is currently in high school. She isn’t sure what she wants to do in the future yet. Sindu likes painting and baking.

She wanted to work at Goldfish because she’s taught kids before and it was very fun. She also finds it really fulfilling to see their progress. Sindu would describe herself as empathetic, nice and hardworking.

Coach Sofia

Coach Sofia will soon be a freshman in high school! Sofia loves drawing and painting in her free time, as well as reading.

She wanted to work at Goldfish because she used to swim here and loved it! She met so many people, and wished to see what it would be like to be the one teaching instead. Sofia describes herself as creative, optimistic and kind.

Coach Sriveda

Coach Sriveda is currently in high school. She wants to work in health care in the future. Sriveda likes hanging out with friends and family.

She wanted to work at Goldfish because she wanted to help children feel safe and comfortable in the water, while also gaining a new experience. Sriveda would describe herself as talkative, funny and responsible.
