Once your child has mastered our pro swim levels, they will have the exciting opportunity to join our Goldfish Swim Force swim team!
This is a fun, friendly team environment where students continue to work on their swim skills while building character and confidence along the way. Our in-water coaches train and encourage swimmers between the ages of 5 and 12 to master the four major swim strokes. These sessions are one hour, once a week, with a swim meet once per quarter. The recreational swim team is an opportunity to hone skills further and to get a feel for competitive swimming for those who are interested in moving into youth sports.
Goldfish Swim Force is more than just a swim team; it’s a character-building program disguised as athletic training. Our dedicated coaches focus on instilling invaluable life skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, goal-setting, and perseverance. Swimmers learn the importance of supporting their teammates, celebrating personal bests, and showing respect for coaches and competitors alike. This supportive environment ensures every child feels like a champion, building self-esteem that extends far beyond the pool deck and into their everyday lives and help they grow within the context of a swim team.
For young athletes interested in pursuing competitive swimming, our Swim Force team provides the perfect introduction to the structure and discipline of the sport without the intense pressure. We focus on refining technique in all four competitive strokes—butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle—while also introducing starts, turns, and race strategies. This technical foundation is crucial for success at any level. Our quarterly swim meets offer a positive, low-stakes environment for swimmers to experience the excitement of competition, learn how to handle race-day nerves, and showcase the skills they’ve mastered throughout the season.
