Join us for Sensory Friendly Family Swim at Goldfish Swim School partnered with FEAT. This event is intended to be low key with limited stimuli! All families in the community with children that have special needs or need sensory friendly environments are welcome.
Goldfish Members are FREE and Non-Members are $10/person and a max of $30/family. Payable at the front desk the day of the event.
An indoor swimming pool heated to a tropical 90° year-round
State-of-the-art water purification system to keep the pools clean and sanitary
All pools are designed exclusively for kids with tropical décor, toys, and safety features
Kid-friendly amenities like our hair drying station, swimsuit dryers & private changing rooms
Parents/guardians need to always be with the swimmer in the water and out of the pool for the duration of the event.

Whether you want to help your children practice their swimming skills or your family needs some bonding time, a Family Swim is a great way to spend an afternoon. Enjoy your day or evening in our shiver-free pool that’s heated to a pleasant 90°.
💦 As a parent, you’re probably well aware that kids don’t truly know if they’ll enjoy something until they dive in and do it. Fortunately, most kids love the water.
This open swim time can benefit your whole family because:
You can teach your child about water safety & introduce him or her to the water
You can relax in our warm pool while your swimmer shows you his or her skills
You can determine if your child would benefit from swim lessons
Spending time in the pool together is a great way to get energy out
Your child will feel more comfortable with you in the water
🛟 Important Safety Reminders:
Please note that we do require reusable swim diapers (no disposable) in our pool; they hold in the contaminates best!
For safety purposes, we require at least one adult to be in the water with each child who cannot swim independently during the open swim.
Adults are required to remain in facility with minors.
Only proper swim attire is permitted in the pool; no street clothes permitted.
🏊🏽 SWIM TEST REQUIRED
Our pool is 4’2” deep. All children that cannot touch with their head above water will be required to pass a swim test at the start of open swim. In order to pass a swim test, the child must swim 25 feet across the width of the pool without struggle; Ellis Certified Lifeguard will make final determination.
Lifejackets or puddle jumpers that fasten around the center are required for all children that do not pass. Coast guard approved life jackets are available at the facility.
If a guardian chooses to accompany the child in the pool 100% of the time, they may remove floatation and practice swim skills with a parent.
We do not allow single arm floaties that do not buckle around the chest for additional support.
