Owner

Tobey and Tim Kelly are the owners of Goldfish Swim School in Milford, Massachusetts and Bedford, NH. They decided to dive head first into opening their first Goldfish Swim School location after seeing first-hand the positive impact their sister and brother-in-law have had in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and Colorado bringing water safety education to these communities. Both Tobey and Tim earned their degrees at Syracuse University and have spent more than 30 years in the Financial Services and Technology industries respectively. They have two grown daughters and consider themselves “outdoors people”, enjoying running and hiking when not at Goldfish. Both have a passion for helping others, which is why they are so excited to be part of the Goldfish Swim School family. They love bringing the Goldfish Swim School proven swim lesson curriculum, water safety knowledge, and the Golden Experience to the community of Milford, MA and Bedford, NH and the surrounding towns.

Lauren has been with Goldfish Swim School in Milford since before it opened in the fall of 2019. After moving back to Massachusetts, Lauren fell in love with the Goldfish Swim School concept of teaching kids life skills and water safety through swimming. Prior to working at Goldfish Swim School, she was an athletic director and coach, and truly loves watching young children grow through sport. A college basketball player at Bentley University, Lauren has grown up participating in sports all her life. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. Both of Lauren’s sons swim at Goldfish and share her love for the water!

Devyn recently joined Goldfish Swim School in Milford and is excited to be a part of the amazing team. With a strong background in education and operations, Devyn is passionate about helping every individual achieve their greatest potential. As a proud mom of three, Devyn enjoys spending quality time with her family, going on long walks, and connecting with new people. She’s thrilled to grow with Goldfish and contribute to the meaningful work of encouraging water safety to all.

Tyler grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended the Georgia Paramedic Training Center and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Management. Tyler has an extensive background in aquatics safety and risk management consulting. His love of swimming and aquatics was born at a young age, where he swam competitively from the age of 5 through High School. He has taught Lifeguard and Lifeguard Instructor classes for over 20 years. He holds American Red Cross and Ellis & Associates Instructor certifications. He also is a certified Aquatic Facility Operator by the National Recreation & Park Association. Tyler’s favorite part of working at Goldfish is seeing children progress in our program and learn important water safety skills. When Tyler isn’t at Goldfish, you will find him spending time with his daughter Peyton (most likely at the beach) and taking photographs of New England lighthouses and the rocky coastal landscapes that are so typical of our area.

Kalie has been working at Goldfish since March of 2019 when she started as a swim instructor. Her favorite part about Goldfish Swim School is that we are able to teach children a life saving skill. She loves watching the swimmers grow, while having so much fun at the same time. Outside of working at Goldfish she loves traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

Dakota has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since May 2024, and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. From the very beginning, he felt welcomed into a positive, team-oriented environment where everyone is passionate about helping kids learn to swim and stay safe in and around the water. Dakota has thoroughly enjoyed learning the Goldfish curriculum, becoming lifeguard certified, and taking on various responsibilities, all of which have deepened his confidence and commitment to water safety. Outside of work, Dakota enjoys spending time with his family, camping, and visiting amusement parks.

Lindsay joined the Goldfish Swim School family in December 2024, starting at our Milford, MA location after relocating from Florida. She now serves as the Regional Marketing Supervisor for both Goldfish Swim School Milford and Goldfish Swim School Bedford. With over 8 years of experience in aquatics, Lindsay is passionate about promoting water safety and education. In addition to her marketing role, she’s a dedicated swim instructor, lifeguard trainer, and a friendly face at the front desk. Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys spending time outdoors and staying active at the gym!

Cloe has been part of the Goldfish Swim School – Milford family since March 2019. She began as a swim instructor and grew her way through multiple roles on the pool deck before diving into the sales and marketing side of Goldfish. With her unique blend of creativity and analytical skills, Cloe loves finding fun, engaging ways to share the Goldfish experience with families. You’ll often see her around the school capturing Golden Moments or putting together exciting content for our community. Outside of Goldfish, Cloe enjoys spending time with her family, soaking up the sun at the beach, and traveling—especially to Europe!
