Meet The Team

Jensen Simons

General Manager

Jensen has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since August 2023 and currently serves as the General Manager. 

Her favorite part about working at Goldfish is watching children overcome their fears and become more independent and safer in and around the water. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where every family and swimmer feels supported from the moment they walk through the doors.

Outside of Goldfish, Jensen enjoys cooking, catching up on her favorite shows, and spending time with her fiancé and fur babies.

Three words that she says best describe her are organized, caring, and dependable.

Kyle Brown

Assistant General Manager

Kyle has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since November 2021 and currently serves as the Assistant General Manager. 

His favorite part about working at Goldfish is serving the community while helping children develop the lifelong, life-saving skill of water safety. He enjoys building relationships with families and takes pride in creating a positive, encouraging environment where every child can grow in confidence both in and around the water.

Outside of Goldfish, Kyle enjoys staying active through triathlons, hiking, and other outdoor adventures. He also enjoys motorsports, music, and serving in young adult ministry.

Ryan Chandlee

Assistant General Manager

Ryan has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since September 2025 and currently serves as the Assistant General Manager. 

His favorite part about working at Goldfish is seeing the progress children make as they master new skills, advance through the curriculum, and move up to the next level. He enjoys celebrating their accomplishments and helping create a positive, supportive environment where every child can build confidence and succeed. 

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Ryan enjoys reading and volunteering at local events throughout the Philadelphia area.

Coach Ainsley

Swim Instructor | Lifeguard

Coach Ainsley has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since December 2025. She currently attends Garnet Valley High School.

Her favorite part about working at Goldfish is seeing the excitement on her swimmers’ faces each week.

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Ainsley enjoys baking, hanging out with my friends, and dancing.

Coach AJ

Swim Instructor | Lifeguard | Golden Teacher

Coach AJ has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since June 2023. He currently attends Williamson College of the Trades, where he is studying Machine Tool Technology.

His favorite part about working at Goldfish is the positive and welcoming environment.

Outside of Goldfish, Coach AJ enjoys playing video games and golfing.

Coach Ava V

Swim Instructor | Lifeguard | Golden Teacher | Deck Supervisor | Front Desk Representative

Coach Ava V has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since June 2023. She is a graduate of Chichester High School. 

Her favorite part about working at Goldfish is spending time in the water while helping children build confidence and learn new skills. 

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Ava V enjoys hiking.

Coach Ben

Swim Instructor | Lifeguard

Coach Ben has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since March 2025. He currently attends Garnet Valley High School.

His favorite part about working at Goldfish is watching children accomplish their goals and move up to the next level. 

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Ben enjoys running track, swimming, and volunteering at a nursing home.

Coach Elaina

Swim Instructor | Lifeguard | Golden Teacher | Deck Supervisor | Front Desk Representative

Coach Elaina has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since September 2021. She graduated from Delaware County Community College with a welding certification.

Her favorite part about working at Goldfish is forming connections with her students while making every lesson fun.

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Elaina enjoys metalworking, staying active, and spending time with friends and family.

Coach Gabriel

Swim Instructor

Coach Gabriel has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since October 2025. He currently attends Delaware County Community College, where he is studying Cybersecurity.

His favorite part about working at Goldfish is the flexible scheduling and how easy it is to balance work with other commitments.

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Gabriel enjoys staying active and attending martial arts classes.

Coach Gavin

Swim Instructor | Lifeguard | Golden Teacher | Deck Supervisor | Front Desk Representative

Coach Gavin has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since May 2023. He currently attends Widener University, where he is pursuing a Finance Major. 

His favorite part about working at Goldfish is watching kids gain confidence in the water while developing strong swimming and safety skills.

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Gavin enjoys swimming, playing video games, and golfing.

Coach Gia

Swim Instructor

Coach Gia has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since April 2026. She currently attends Reach Cyber Charter School. 

Her favorite part about working at Goldfish is helping young children learn and grow.

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Gia enjoys practicing her gymnastics.

Coach Heidi

Swim Instructor | Lifeguard | Golden Teacher | Deck Supervisor | Front Desk Representative

Coach Heidi has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since October 2021. She attended Syracuse University.

Her favorite part about working at Goldfish is building relationships with the kids and their families.

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Heidi enjoys working as a vocal teacher and performer, knitting, and being around her family and two dogs.

Coach Izzy

Swim Instructor

Coach Izzy has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since May 2026. She currently attends Neumann University, where she is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. 

Her favorite part about working at Goldfish is watching the kids become more confident in the water.

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Izzy enjoys fishing with her boyfriend.

Coach Katelyn

Swim Instructor | Golden Teacher

Coach Katelyn has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since June 2023. She currently attends Chestnut Hill College, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. 

Her favorite part about working at Goldfish is watching children grow in confidence, both in themselves and in their swimming abilities. 

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Katelyn enjoys drawing and practicing archery.

Coach Kris

Swim Instructor | Lifeguard | Golden Teacher

Coach Kris has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since October 2022. She is a graduate of Ridley High School. 

Her favorite part about working at Goldfish is helping children become comfortable in the water while teaching them important skills to stay safe around it.

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Kris enjoys spending time with her grandson, cooking, and gardening.

Coach Lance

Swim Instructor | Lifeguard | Golden Teacher | Deck Supervisor

Coach Lance has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since February 2024.

His favorite part of working at Goldfish is watching children overcome challenges, build confidence, and celebrate their accomplishments in the water.

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Lance enjoys spreading kindness wherever he goes and staying active through fitness.

Coach Lauren C

Swim Instructor | Lifeguard

Coach Lauren C has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since November 2025. She attended Delaware County Community College, where she earned her associate degree in the Sciences.

Her favorite part about working at Goldfish is the supportive team and her coworkers.

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Lauren C enjoys going to concerts, playing video games, and spending time with friends.

Coach Lauren H

Swim Instructor | Lifeguard | Front Desk Representative

Coach Lauren H has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since March 2026. She currently attends Temple University.

Her favorite part about working at Goldfish is seeing all the smiling faces, whether they’re in the water or out. She loves being part of an environment where kids are having fun and building confidence.

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Lauren H enjoys horseback riding.

Coach Liam

Coach Liam has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since April 2022. He is a graduate of Sun Valley High School.

His favorite part about working at Goldfish is watching each swimmer do their best and grow in confidence.

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Liam enjoys skateboarding.

Coach MaryClare

Swim Instructor | Lifeguard | Golden Teacher | Deck Supervisor

Coach MaryClare has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since December 2017. She attended West Chester University.

Her favorite part about working at Goldfish is teaching kids how to swim and watching their confidence grow.

Outside of Goldfish, Coach MaryClare enjoys reading, running, and paddleboarding.

Coach Mike

Swim Instructor | Lifeguard | Golden Teacher | Deck Supervisor 

Coach Mike has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since February 2024. He attended Chubb Institute, where he studied Graphic Design.

His favorite part about teaching is watching swimmers overcome their fears and achieve skills they’ve been working hard to master.

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Mike enjoys running, puppetry, and making balloon animals.

Coach Paige C

Swim Instructor | Lifeguard | Golden Teacher

Coach Paige C has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since January 2025. She is a graduate of Upper Darby High School.

Her favorite part about working at Goldfish is training new teachers. She finds the opportunity to mentor others and help them succeed incredibly rewarding.

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Paige C enjoys going to the gym, painting, and writing short stories and poems.

Coach Robby

Swim Instructor | Lifeguard | Golden Teacher

Coach Robby has been part of the Goldfish team since November 2025. He currently attends Widener University, where he is pursuing a degree in Construction Management. 

His favorite part about working at Goldfish is helping swimmers push their limits, step outside their comfort zones, and achieve their goals.

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Robby enjoys playing video games, golfing with friends, and playing ultimate frisbee. Three words that he says best describe him are energetic, funny, and determined.

Coach Savannah

Swim Instructor

Coach Savannah has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since April 2026. She currently attends Neumann University, where she is pursuing a Nursing degree.

Her favorite part about working at Goldfish is celebrating every child’s accomplishments, whether they’re big or small.

Outside of Goldfish, Coach Savannah enjoys dancing.

Coach Ty'Shay

Coach Ty’Shay has been part of the Goldfish Swim School team since August 2023. She currently attends Community College of Philadelphia.

Her favorite part about working at Goldfish is watching kids build confidence and become safer swimmers.
