Dana Schuchardt

Owner

Dana could not be more excited about opening Goldfish Swim School – Gilbert! As a new mom, lover of the water and a lifelong swimmer, she feels it is so important for children to learn this essential life skill, AND to have fun while doing it!

Dana grew up in Birmingham, MI where she was first introduced to swimming at age 4. Her love for the sport developed quickly and continued on throughout college, where she was an NCAA All-American, 2-time Olympic Trial Qualifier and the 2011 captain of the University of Arizona women’s swim team.

After college, Dana relocated to California following a marketing career in the wine business. In 2016, she was ready to get back to her roots and pursue new and exciting opportunities. As an Owner of two Goldfish Swim School’s, Dana has the chance to combine her passion for swimming and children, with her background in Business Marketing and Brand Management. She and her husband, Alex, are looking forward to welcoming you and your little ones to the Goldfish family!

Alex Schuchardt

Owner

Alex is an owner of Goldfish Swim School – Gilbert with his wife Dana Schuchardt. Alex has a passion of helping others and making sure we strive as a team to give you the Golden experience. Alex joined his wife on the Goldfish team in 2019 and has been an amazing partner to work with. The Schuchardt’s also had a blessing added to their lives with welcoming their baby girl, Weston, in 2020! Alex and Dana are SO excited to open Goldfish Swim School in Arizona, where they have been residing since 2019.

Lindy Lunkenheimer

General Manager

Lindy is excited to join the Goldfish Swim School – Gilbert team as General Manager! Growing up near the water in Alabama, she learned to swim at a young age and feels it is important for other children to have fun and be safe in and around the water.

Lindy developed a love for sports and fitness as a young child and this continued through college as a basketball player. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Exercise Science and feels swimming is an ideal activity for children to stay active – and safe – all while having fun!

After college, Lindy lived across the country working with college students in the areas of fitness, wellness, and aquatics. She has a passion for motivating and encouraging others to stay active and have fun! After fifteen years of working in higher education, Lindy decided to honor her love of the water and joined Goldfish Swim School – Gilbert as General Manager
