Glider Swim Lessons for Kids in West Linn, OR

Beginner Swimming Classes for 4 to 12 year olds.

Our Glider swim class is designed for West Linn children between the ages of 4 and 12 and includes three different levels.

Swim Lessons for 3 Different Levels from Beginner (No Experience) to Intermediate Students

Whether your child has no experience or is capable of swimming solo without assistance, we offer swim lessons that will fit their needs and comfort level.

Each Glider kids swim class is 30 minutes long and has a four-child limit, so your little swimmer will get ample attention while in the water. Beginner swim lessons help swimmers gain confidence and water safety skills. Swimmers will learn to swim by acquiring foundational skills like putting their face in the water, submerging their body, holding their breath, rolling over, back floating, and more. As they near the intermediate level, they will begin to work on their freestyle/front crawl over increasing distances. By building skills through games, rewards, and a fun environment, every student can enjoy the learning experience and make memories along the way. Also check out our full range of swim lessons to find the best fit for your child’s current swimming skill set!

Small Classes, Big Results

With only 4 students per 30-minute class, our instructors provide individualized guidance to help each child progress at their own pace. The small group setting ensures safety, boosts confidence, and allows for plenty of one-on-one feedback—so no student gets left behind.

Skills Your Child Will Master

Through playful drills and positive reinforcement, swimmers develop essential water safety and swimming fundamentals. Lessons cover submerging, breath control, front/back floating, rolling over for safety, and freestyle basics. As skills grow, so does independence—with an emphasis on fun, so kids stay motivated and excited to learn.
