Goldfish Swim School in West Bloomfield is not just a swim school — it is a second home for my daughter, and the people who work there are like family to us. The teachers here are truly exceptional. You can see how much they love what they do every single time they step onto the pool deck. They do not just teach swimming — they pour their hearts into every lesson, encouraging each child with patience, warmth, and genuine excitement. My daughter looks forward to her lessons all week long, and that says everything about the kind of environment these incredible teachers have created. But what really sets Goldfish apart is the staff. Every single person — from the front desk to the pool — is kind, attentive, and goes above and beyond. I cannot say enough good things about them. They are some of the best people you will ever meet, and it shows in the way they treat every child and every family that walks through those doors. Let me share a story that perfectly captures who these people are. My daughter accidentally left her swimming bag at school one day and arrived at her lesson without a towel or a swimsuit. I was completely caught off guard and did not know what we were going to do. Without hesitation, the staff found her a towel and a swimsuit so she would not have to miss her lesson. It may seem like a small thing, but it absolutely made my daughter’s day. She was so happy, and I was so moved by how quickly and graciously they stepped in to help. We cannot say enough good things about this place! We absolutely recommend this swim school. It’s so fun for the kids and the facility is so well thought out for the parents. There isn’t anything I could think of that they could do better. Our instructor Lauren for the mini two class is particularly amazing.

I’ve been taking my son to Goldfish swim school for a little over a year now and we are very satisfied. The staff is super friendly. Never had a problem. And he is progressing very nicely! I would recommend them to everyone!

This was my grandson’s first lesson at this facility. He was nervous because he is a little older than many of the kids. Henry put him to ease. Challenged but encouraged. My grandson is excited for next week’s lesson.

We’ve been coming to Goldfish for years and have always had a great experience here. The variety of times available for classes is convenient and they do a great job celebrating wins when kids level up their skills. Notable, Jayda at West Bloomfield is the best instructor we’ve ever had. She engages the kids in an awesome way and provides direction (and redirection) when needed. Jayda is silly in her instruction, but in a way that keeps kids locked in. I wish we had her the entire time we’ve been at Goldfish!
