Meet The Team

Mrs. Kaileigh (She/Her)

General Manager

Kaileigh has been with Goldfish Swim School for three years. She attended VCU and majored in physical education and exercise science. Kaileigh loves to see the swimmers get excited and proud when they achieve a skill or move up a level! 

Coach Dylan (He/Him)

Assistant General Manager

Coach Dylan is our Assistant General Manager and has almost a decade of experience in aquatics! You can catch Dylan out on the pool deck giving pointers to our swimmers, coaching our swim team, or making sure things are running SWIMMINGLY at the front desk! 

Coach Chris (He/Him)

Pool Operations Manager

Coach Chris is our Pool Operations Manager and has been part of the Goldfish team for two years. Chris is also our Swim Force Coach and conducts weekly clinics to focus on skill progression. In his freetime, Chris enjoys connecting with his team members, working with others on achieving their goals, and practicing stand-up comedy!

Ms. Kae (She/Her)

Manager on Duty

Ms. Kae is our Manager On Duty! She moved to Richmond in 2022 from the Appalachian Mountains and joined our school of fish shortly after. Her favorite levels to teach are Minis and Juniors because she is able to share her wealth of knowledge about water safety, as well as gently push the independence needed for their skill progression! Kae is also active in the community through grassroots events, so if you see her out be sure to say “hello!”

Ms. Keyona (She/Her)

Front Desk Supervisor

Keyona is our Front Desk Supervisor who loves being the first person to welcome a new family into our School of Fish! When she’s not helping customers at Goldfish, you can find Keyona playing video games, reading, or hanging out with her family.

Coach Danielle (She/Her)

Grassroots Coordinator

Coach Danielle is our Grassroots Coordinator, who spends her time searching the community for new partnerships, creating a festive facility, or assisting our members at the front desk! In her freetime, Danielle loves to focus on fitness and health and enjoys spreading her knowledge to the rest of the team!

Coach Vane (She/Her)

Social Media Creator (Bilingual)

Coach Vane is our spectacular social media creator! Whether it is keeping up with the latest trends, promoting new specials and classes, or showing off our amazing swimmer’s skills, you can be sure that Vane will give it her all! Be sure to strike a pose for Vane next time you see her!

Coach Gracie (She/Her)

Head Deck Supervisor

Gracie is our Head Deck Supervisor and has a special eye for what our swimmers need to progress, as well as what our instructors need to ensure your kiddos are well taken care of! You can catch Coach Gracie assisting out on the pool deck, or find her in the lobby organizing and keeping all of our affairs in order! 

Coach Carolyn (She/Her)

Deck Supervisor

Carolyn is a Deck Supervisor who loves teaching Glider 3 and Pro 1! In her free time, she loves reading and painting. She graduates from VCU in December with a marketing degree. If you see her around, be sure to congratulate her on all her hard work!

Coach Max (He/Him)

Deck Supervisor

Coach Max is one of our rockstar Deck Supervisors. Max is always super enthusiastic while supervising the deck, and does great at gently pushing independence in his classes. Max is great at brightening up everyones day with his big smile, and is quick to step in wherever he is needed! If you see Coach Max in the facility be sure to give him a wave!

Coach Mayra (She/Her)

Deck Supervisor (Bilingual)

Coach Mayra is another one of our Deck Supervisors, and is also trained to be a Certified Pool Operator! In the future, Mayra will also complete training to become a Certified Lifeguard Instructor! Coach Mayra is also one of our bilingual instructors, and is amazing at facilitating a warm and comforting environment within her classes. If you see Mayra in the facility, be sure to give her a high five for all her endeavors!

Coach E-Beth (She/Her)

Deck Supervisor

Coach E-Beth is one of our superstar Deck Supervisors! She began assisting with swim lessons at 13 and became a lifeguard at 16. She did both of these full time positions for five years. Over time, she missed teaching, so she decided to come back and join our school of fish! E-Beth has great Mini classes and is the best about soothing both parent and swimmer fears.

Coach Jessica (She/Her)

Deck Supervisor (Bilingual)

Coach Jessica is another one of our Deck Supervisors, and joined us from another Goldfish location! With that, she brings a unique perspective to the deck and is always excited to share what she knows with her swimmers. In her own classes, Jessica is great at pushing independence while also being sure to incoorporate The Science of SwimPlay®!

Coach Dubri (She/Her)

Deck Assistant (Bilingual)

Coach Dubri is one of our amazing Deck Assistants! You can find Dubri passing out ribbons, grabbing tissues, or even pulling your swimmer aside to get some extra practice on those tough skills. Dubri is also a FINTASTIC swim instructor and has a sharp eye in her upper levels. 

Coach Kieryn (He/Him)

Golden Teacher

Coach Kieryn is one of our great Golden Teachers! Kieryn has a unique ability to form strong relationships with his swimmers in a short amount of time. He is always keeping himself up to date on what his swimmers need, being sure to check in with a supervisor before every shift. Kieryn also facilitates a strong team bond among his coworkers and brightens everyone’s day with his warm smile!

Coach Alex B. (He/Him)

Golden Teacher

Coach Alex B. is one of our amazing Golden Teachers! Alex has a wealth of knowledge regarding swimming, and even spent some time coaching adults! Alex has an eagle eye for what his swimmers need to work on, and makes sure to update the Deck Supervisor on their progress and needs every class! If you see Alex B. around the facility be sure to give him a wave!

Coach Cali (She/Her)

Golden Teacher

Coach Cali is one of our amazing Golden Teachers! Cali is amazing at meeting her swimmers where they are and leading them through progressions to get them independent! Cali has been swimming since she was a little girl, with nearly 13 years of experience. When Cali is not in the facility, she enjoys spending time with the people she loves. Be sure to give Cali a wave if you see her in the building!

Coach Claire (She/Her)

Golden Teacher

Coach Claire is one of our super sweet Golden Teachers! Claire is great at creating a warm, safe environment that her swimmers thrive off of. Claire is currently a member of her school’s swim team, and has years of experience! Be sure to give Coach Claire a high five if you see her in the building!

Coach Abby (She/Her)

Swim Instructor/Lifeguard

Coach Abby is one of our vigilant lifeguards, who loved our lessons so much that she decided to go through training to become a swim instructor as well! Abby has experience lifeguarding at King’s Dominion, so she comes to us with lots of water safety knowledge and is super excited to extend that to her swimmers! 

Alex A. (He/Him)

Swim Instructor (Trilingual)

Alex A. is one of our awesome swim instructors, who also speaks French, Spanish, and English, making him our only trilingual instructors! Alex A. is currently enlisted in the US Army, and loves playing soccer in his free time! 

Coach Cori (She/They)

Swim Instructor/Lifeguard

Coach Cori is another one of our newer, amazing swim instructors! Cori’s favorite level to teach at Goldfish is Glider 2, and her favorite thing about our school is her coworkers! If you see Cori in the building, be sure to say hello!

Mr. David (He/Him)

Lifeguard

Mr. David is one of our vigilant lifeguards! When David is not spending time at church, hanging with family, or working on his academics, you can find him enforcing our safety rules and watching the water like a hawk! Be sure to thank Mr.David for keeping everyone safe!

Coach Rylan (She/Her)

Swim Instructor/ Lifeguard

Coach Rylan is one of our amazing swim instructors! Her favorite level to teach is Mini 3, because she loves getting the kiddos used to the water at a young age and facilitating that positive correlation. She also says that her favorite thing about Goldfish is.. EVERYTHING! Be sure to say hello to Coach Rylan if you see her around! 

Coach Taylor (She/Her)

Swim Instructor/LGI

Coach Taylor is one of our swim instructors, as well as our Lifeguard Instructor! Taylor makes sure that all of our lifeguards have up to date certifications, are following the standards of Ellis, and have everything they need to be successful while on stand! 

Mr. Zack (He/Him)

Lifeguard/LGI

Mr. Zack is another one of our diligent lifeguards, and our second LGI! Zack also comes from Kings Dominion with a wealth of water safety and lifeguarding knowledge. When Zack is not watching his own kids swim, he is watching yours and ensuring their safety! 

Coach Braylon (He/They)

Swim Instructor/Front Desk

Coach Braylon is one of our amazing swim instructors, and also works the front desk! Coach Braylon teaches a lot of our private lessons, and loves playing with the kiddos and keeping them happy. When he is not in the water, you can find him at the front desk scheduling makeup lessons, enrolling new swimmers, or straightening up the facility! 

Coach Melanie (She/Her)

Coach Melanie is one of our swim instructors! Coach Melanie’s favorite class to teach is Mini 3, and her favorite thing about Goldfish is her awesome coworkers!!

Coach Adam (He/Him)

Swim Instructor

Adam is another one of our swim instructors! Adam has a ton of experience in aquatics, and is a swimmer himself! Adam is also enrolled at VCU. Say hi to Adam if you see him around!
