Shannon has been part of the Goldfish family for over four years. She loves creating a fun, positive environment for families and staff alike. Outside of work, Shannon is a proud mom to two boys and enjoys traveling, camping, and spending time at the beach.

E-Beth enjoys hiking, practicing yoga, and participating in various water activities in her free time. E-Beths passion for swimming began at age two and has continued ever since. She loves it so much that she wants to share that joy by teaching swim lessons to young children. There is a spark of joy E-Beth gets from helping a child achieve their goals in the water.

Cody is the Manager on Duty, you can see him teaching and deck supervising. If you don’t, he’s probably in the pump room. Cody swam competitively in childhood and coached competitive swim prior to Goldfish. In his free time he enjoys playing video games, reading, and swimming laps.

Keyona is our Front Desk Supervisor who loves being the first person to welcome a new family into our School of Fish! When she’s not helping customers at Goldfish, you can find Keyona playing video games, reading, or hanging out with her family.

Coach Jessica is another one of our Deck Supervisors, and joined us from another Goldfish location! With that, she brings a unique perspective to the deck and is always excited to share what she knows with her swimmers. In her own classes, Jessica is great at pushing independence while also being sure to incoorporate The Science of SwimPlay®!

Coach Cali is one of our amazing Deck Supervisors! Cali is amazing at meeting her swimmers where they are and leading them through progressions to get them independent! Cali has been swimming since she was a little girl, with nearly 13 years of experience. When Cali is not in the facility, she enjoys spending time with the people she loves. Be sure to give Cali a wave if you see her in the building!

Coach Kendyll is one of our amazing deck assistants! Her best level is by far our Pro levels, since she was a swimmer herself, she is able to really connect with her swimmers and get those tough to learn skills mastered. When she is not in the water, you can find her being super viligant on the lifeguard stand, or helping with other pool deck tasks!

Coach Taylor is one of our swim instructors, as well as our Lifeguard Instructor! Taylor makes sure that all of our lifeguards have up to date certifications, are following the standards of Ellis, and have everything they need to be successful while on stand!

Coach Kieryn is one of our great Golden Teachers! Kieryn has a unique ability to form strong relationships with his swimmers in a short amount of time. He is always keeping himself up to date on what his swimmers need, being sure to check in with a supervisor before every shift. Kieryn also facilitates a strong team bond among his coworkers and brightens everyone’s day with his warm smile!

Coach Abby is one of our vigilant lifeguards, who loved our lessons so much that she decided to go through training to become a swim instructor as well! Abby has experience lifeguarding at King’s Dominion, so she comes to us with lots of water safety knowledge and is super excited to extend that to her swimmers!

Coach Zay is one of our SPECTACULAR swim instructors! Zay always makes sure to celebrate even the smallest amount of progress with his swimmers, and makes sure that they are also having FUN while learning those lifesaving skills. Carter enjoys baking, hiking, playing softball, and spending time with the people she loves. She loves sweet treats, particularly ice cream. Carter has played softball since she was 4 and continues to play on her high school’s team.

Kayleigh is a senior attending James River High School! Kayleigh is the oldest sibling , which sparks her passion for working with kids. Her favorite hobby is arts and crafts! She loves finding ways to create new things! Kayleigh is from a small town in northern virginia , front royal !

Gabi is a senior in high school studying to be an EMT. She enjoys singing, art, and photography. Gabi has been playing softball for 5 years outside and inside of school.

Elliott is a student and owner of an embarrassing amount of cats. They enjoy reading, creating art, and singing. Elliott is also a licensed EMT and volunteers their time with a local rescue squad.

Griffin is a recent graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, having earned a bachelor’s degree in Public History. He has aspirations to go to graduate school for Archival Science in the future to attain his dream job of being an archivist. Outside of Goldfish, Griffin loves baking, exploring Virginia, and spending time with his beloved tuxedo cat, Bitsy.

Outside of work, Cadence is a senior at Clover Hill High School. She is also in Dental 2 at the Technical center working on becoming a Dental assistant. She enjoys traveling, camping and spending quality time with the people she loves. Cadence is very passionate about helping others and making people smile.

Bode is a swim instructor who enjoys teaching and is a senior in high school. He wants to study construction management at Virginia Tech and enjoys listening to music and playing video games in his free time.

Jordan is a sophomore at Clover Hill High School and enjoys video games in his free time. His favorite subject in school is science because he likes doing experiments and learning about the world around us. Jordan also enjoys hanging with his cats and dogs. Jordan recieved straight A’s during his Freshmen year of High School!

Jade is a junior in high school with all AP core classes. She loves to travel out the country with family. She thrives best in small groups where she can openly connect and share ideas. Jade previously worked as a lifeguard at Kings Dominion.
