Leave a Review(Updated review) We had a good experience overall with Goldfish Swim. The instructors are great and clearly know what they’re doing, though some stood out more than others in terms of care and attentiveness. It can be loud in the indoor swim area, so sometimes it’s hard for kids to hear during group lessons, but that’s understandable given the setup. The classes are fast-paced and high-volume, so it doesn’t always feel very personalized, but they are structured and effective. Just something to keep in mind depending on what you’re looking for. Initially, we had some frustration with the cancellation policy and how it was handled in the app, which I shared in my original review. However, Goldfish reached out and worked with us to find a solution that allowed for a one-month break. We appreciated their willingness to help and have decided to return. Updating this to 4 stars to reflect their follow-through and our overall positive experience.

Good instructors. Bad administration. Every time my children moved up a level they would change the day and time which they didn't notify me about at first and it was difficult for me to attend. One time I asked them to pause my membership because I was out of state, they told me they would and they didn't. I lost hundreds of dollars on classes my children couldn't attend because of the change they made and someone on their staff told me they could give me back half of the tokens I had accumulated and they didn't give me back anything because that person no longer worked there and gave me the wrong information.

We are very disappointed in our experience with Goldfish Swim Academy. The classes are supposed to be 30 minutes but they do not allow any cushion time in between classes so the two classes we've attended started late and ended a bit early. Not a big deal if its a 45 or 50 minute class but our son only end up being in the pool for 20 minutes. The classes themselves are so rushed that by the time he practices a skill 2-3 times, its time to move on... how is a child really supposed to learn like this?!
