Great school for learning to swim for kids. You have to teach kids to swim for peace of mind in florida with all the swimming pools. Has a shower, hair dryer and clothes spinner. Clean. 25 cent candies. Teachers are generally all young and nice.

The swim lessons have helped my grandson tremendously. He never liked putting his face in the water and now he dives in and swims to the steps on his own. He loves the weekly lessons and the facility is amazing!

Living in Florida, I knew swim instruction was necessary for my 2 yr old. I asked around and Goldfish was one of the schools recommended. We began lessons in March of 2024. I was extremely nervous at first, as she was with an instructor and not me. My anxiety slowly dispersed as the instructors and lifeguards patiently worked with her to build both her listening and water skills. Prior to her starting, she had no ability to swim at all and did not like going in the deep end. Since then, her skills have increased immensely and she has learned basic swim survival skills. Now, she is holding her breath and diving into water. She can confidently swim in deep water. She "rescues" toys from one side of the pool and brings them back. She "dives down" in water to retrieve swim rings. She even does underwater somersaults and handstands! My one critique is that there is a pretty high staff turnover. My daughter doesn't really seem to mind it, although I know many young students that do. Mine does excel more when she has one steady instructor who knows her capabilities and knows how to push her and work with her specific needs. I am extremely impressed with goldfish swim school and definitely recommend them for instruction, especially for the younger ones.

Recommend Goldfish Lakewood Ranch, Fl for swim lessons. It's indoors so weather isn't an issue. It is clean, visibly appealing for children, with a sweet fish aquarium our little one enjoys to look at when we enter the lobby. It has everything from changing rooms and rinse showers, to hair dryers. We have been getting swim lessons for our toddler who has special needs. The instructors for babies and toddlers make it as fun as possible with songs and toys in water for starting out. Goldfish is patient and accommodating personally towards our little one and swim instructors are kindly considerate of the special needs. Goldfish has worked with our schedule as needed, ..so very much appreciated. We are seeing improvements with our little toddler in the water. Nice too that we can get in the water with our toddler to learn how to help with training too. This particular Goldfish in Lakewood Ranch, FL has a community feel as the owners get to know you and are welcoming. We recommend Lakewood Ranch, Fl Goldfish.

Amazing place. My two year old granddaughter loves it. The staff is great. Morgan is our teacher and has such a great way of teaching and building skills in a fun and kind manner. Facility is well maintained and decorated to engage the kids. My granddaughter loves the showers and the blow drying station after her class. We have recommended it to many of our friends!
