Brooke L.

General Manager

Aloha! My name is Brooke and I am the General Manager at the Goldfish Swim School – Fox Chapel. I have been with Goldfish since 2015, which makes almost 10 years of service helping kids and families learn to be safer in and around the water. The best part of my job is the people – whether it be our diverse membership or staff, and getting to know them! Our team gives out positive vibes and each little swimmer brings their own unique style to swimming, which makes it so fun!

Kyle R.

Assistant General Manager

Started lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons in 2005 and never stopped. I felt an immediate connection to the importance of water safety and decided to make it the thing I would dedicate my life to. Over the years, I have taught hundreds of swimmers in Florida, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. I was thrilled to find a place like Goldfish Swim School that shared my passion for water safety and high quality swim lessons and it has felt just like home since I joined the team in 2023.

Kenny M.

Assistant General Manager

Outside of Goldfish, you can find Coach Kenny at a bowling alley, hanging at PNC Park or even enjoying a day with his cats and dogs. He loves working with kids because their sense of humor is one of a kind – you never know what they may say next!

Nova H.

Manager on Duty

Coach Nova has been on the Goldfish team for 2 years and is making quite a splash! She loves working with kids is fun because you get to see their progress and watch their confidence grow in swimming which is really rewarding.

Front Desk Representative

If Shelby isn’t at Goldfish, you can find her playing pickleball, reading, walking my dog, and OT school! She loves the opportunity to watch kiddos grow into the best version of themselves and hearing all the funny things they say! Did you know – Shelby has been on a hot air balloon ride!

Ben holds a BFA in Acting from West Virginia University, and performed theater across the east coast until 2020. He works full-time at Junior Achievement of Western PA, where he develops and facilitates experiential learning curriculum for kids and teenagers.

Ahoy friends! My name is Esabelle, but you can call me Belle 🙂 I moved to Pittsburgh from Upstate NY to attend Pitt and follow my dream of becoming a Structural Engineer. I’m working at Goldfish Swim School while I move towards my degree and I am loving every minute of it. From the excited spins and splashes when the kids arrive to waving goodbye as they leave wrapped in their towels, working here is a fun and unique experience. Outside of class you can find me curled up with a book, crocheting blankets and stuffed animals, or on an adventure with my dogs in the local parks. I love adventures and at Goldfish every day is full of adventure, fun and, of course, swimming.
