I cannot say enough about Goldfish in Cary. It can feel challenging to trust the process, but if you do, you’ll be glad you stuck around. We started our kids out when they were older; they wouldn’t even put their faces in the water. The coaches (who have become like family) were so patient throughout. Once the kids realized they were safe, they were willing to go all in. We spent a year and a half, working our way up through each level and now our kids swim on a year round swim team as confident, beautiful swimmers. People are always shocked when they hear they’ve only been swimming for a short time and are competing now. Goldfish isn’t just swim lessons - it’s so much more. Each person takes time to learn the kids names, their personalities and truly connect with them. We are grateful for the whole Cary family and the peace of mind they’ve provided our family around the water.

Goldfish Cary is the BEST swim school - every swim teacher is encouraging, kind, and spends quality time teaching your child. When we began lessons, our son could not yet swim independently; after many months, he is now a confident, safe swimmer who can even do a variety of strokes (and even a flip turn!). The teachers are phenomenal, the pool and facilities are clean, and it’s truly been a wonderful experience for our family!

My grandson is doing great in his classes. Over all I am pleased with the teachers at this swimming class. Very understanding to the many children's they work with. Keep up the good work with the swimming lessons

My daughter looks forward to swim each week. She often asks if she can “do to” as in back-to-back sessions. We try to do this when we have a make up available and goldfish has the space. I love that she has developed a love of water while also learning water safety. Swim is her favorite weekly activity. I also love how interactive her instructors are and how she stays engaged. Highly recommend!

I can not say enough good things about this school. Specifically Taylor. He helped my son improve so much in his swimming and confidence. So much so that he leveled up after his first class after having private lessons with him. Anyone thinking about going to school should definitely check it out.

We have loved our experience at Goldfish swim school. Our boys, ages 5 and 3 have thrived with the amazing swim instructors they have had. We have especially been impressed with Sarah H., Mike, Jed, Shane, and Shelly, but there are others who are great too. The instructors take the time to care for each child’s individual needs so that they feel comfortable and enjoy their lessons. The lifeguards are really attentive too, which makes me, as the parent, feel more at ease. The swim school itself is also nice and well organized. I am so glad I chose Goldfish Swim School for my kids and would recommend it to anyone I know.

Okay. For just a minute, I think I am going to cry. Years ago, back when Moses was a baby... I took Jr. Lifeguard training at a summer camp and pretty much nearly drowned trying to "save" one of our teachers, who definitely excelled at being a "violent" victim. Fast forward to real lifeguard classes over at NC State when I was all of 16 years old, with an instructor who was so old and wrinkled, he really should not have been wearing a Speedo week to week. I passed class and went on to be a lifeguard, but not without nearly drowning again during our final test with yet another, also "violent", victim. All of this to say that I know a person can drown in a teaspoon of water. And in my mind, no one... no one... should ever die from drowning for lack of knowing how to swim. So, on the advice of some clients of mine, I enrolled my grandchildren in Goldfish Swim School. My grandson completed through Pro 2 and then went on into Swim Force, which allowed him a way to improve his skills and compete. My granddaughter had no interest in competing, but "graduated" tonight from Pro 2... a strong and confident swimmer... And we plan to take both of them to Hawaii in the next couple of years... to swim with gorgeous tropical fish, green sea turtles, dolphins, monk seals... you name it! So, am I happy with Goldfish Swim School? You bet! And I would, and will, continue to refer them to everyone who wants their kids to become the best of swimmers. Thank you to the team at Goldfish in Cary, NC. You guys are the bomb!
