We started here for the WARM pool and WARM room. My swimmer gets cold easily- shivers, lips turn blue - and has refused more than about 10 min of any other lesson we've tried. Even with a wet suit, he just couldn't tolerate it. Other programs we went to also seemed to have new/fill-in teachers each week, and my kiddo does best with consistency and familiarity, especially when getting started. We've been coming here about 4 months and my swimmer is close to leveling up for the second time. He works hard and generally likes the classes - he's even been more flexible for makeup classes and new teachers. The makeups are another huge benefit compared to the use it or lose it with other series classes. Would LOVE if they offered semi-private lessons. If all 4 kids show up for the group lessons, it's not a lot of swimming. But private is expensive and I don't think my son could realistically swim the whole time. Also, I think they really do get benefit from watching and hearing instruction with another kid at/near their own level.

We love Goldfish! We tried two other swim places before and this is by far our favorite. My kid is confident in the pool and loves her lessons. The skills are appropriately challenging and the instructors are great with kids! The pool room is warm, the viewing area is organized, making up classes is easy with the app, and we love the shower rooms/deck and the changing rooms and hair drying station. This place is solely dedicated to kid lessons. We recommend it to anyone who asks!
