Talaga Family

Owner

The Talaga family is so excited to bring Goldfish Swim School to Centennial East! Mike and Lindsey met at Miami of Ohio and then moved to Chicago, Illinois. They lived in Chicago for 15 years, where Mike attended University of Chicago and Lindsey, Kellogg Business School before moving to Colorado, where Lindsey grew up. They have four kids – all girls, ranging from 2 years old to 11 years old! As a family, they love to hike, ski, play card games, watch classic movies (Goonies is a family favorite!) and of course, swim! They are passionate about instilling the life skill of swimming while making it lots of fun for kids!!

Jordan Bean

Assistant General Manager

HI! I’m Jordan! I was born in Colorado and have spent my whole life here. I have three little brothers and one of them even works here at the school! When I am not at Goldfish or studying, I love to get out and see new things and try different foods. I have two dogs named Chief and Jesse and I hope to adopt a pig someday! My favorite color is blue, my favorite superheros are Black Panther and Batman, and I love chicken sandwiches!

Lloyd Family

Hello from the Lloyd Family! We just saw Bubbles the Goldfish in Colorado looking for a new home and are so excited for you to meet her too.

We have all grown up as land sport lovers including soccer, tennis and ice hockey and volleyball.

Swimming and water safety have become our new endeavor and we are excited to share them with you! Come see us and meet Bubbles at Goldfish Swim School!

Two of our family favorite movies are Dolphin Tale and Soul Surfer.

Jess Sirovatka

General Manager

Jess is a seasoned General Manager with 13 years of experience under her belt. She is well versed in running crews of young adults and managing large intricate customer service organizations. She is currently attending Regis Jesuit University working towards her Master’s Degree in Human Resources.

When she isn’t at the school she is spending time with her husband and very spoiled dog hiking the mountains of Colorado and creating her own craft beer. She is voracious reader and movie lover.

Michelle Gibbons

Assistant General Manager & Marketing Manager

Hi! My name is Michelle. 

I grew up in Birmingham, Michigan, where I found my love for swimming and other various water sports. I was always a competitive, year-round swimmer, and in high school, I played water polo for all 4 years. 

In 2009 I moved out to Colorado and started coaching for a USA club swim team. I coached various ages ranging from 10-18 years old, most at state-qualifying level. 

I started working for Goldfish Centennial East in April of 2021, helping to get the school set up and ready to open in May. My first position, when we first opened, was a Deck Supervisor. I was brought onto the management team in April of 2022.

In 2017, I met my now husband, Jared. We got married in November of 2022 and we welcomed our daughter, Charlotte, into the world in April 2023! We have two dogs, a corgi-mix (Buster), and a pit/boxer (Roby). 

When I’m not at Goldfish, I like to spend time with my family, go on hikes or walk around Cherry Creek Dog Park, snowboard, go to the gym, and read!
