Our Continued Commitment to Our Community of Members and Franchisees
As we continue to trek through these unprecedented times, Goldfish Swim School continues to lean on our core principles and values to ensure we are delivering exceptional experiences to our customers and their families.
Recently, Goldfish Swim School has been featured in an article by Franchise Chatter that highlights how our team has been able to lean on our values to ensure our overall success during this pandemic. As part of the feature Chris McCuiston, co-founder and CEO of Goldfish Swim School, was interviewed and provided some insight into our world.
Throughout the pandemic, our commitment to safety for our members and their families, as well as our teams and franchise owners have been number one above all. At the first sight of the pandemic, we decided to temporarily close all 100+ locations across North America to slow the spread of the virus.
McCuiston goes on to share, “During that time, we leaned heavily on our core values to serve as a guiding light. One of those core values is to do the right things, make the right decisions, and treat people with integrity, compassion, and trust – this is exactly what our franchise office support team did throughout the pandemic.”
Not only were we able to shift gears quickly to continue our mission, but we were also able to innovate and do some things we never thought possible. From going live on Instagram; to sharing water safety tips; to offering virtual swim lessons, our team has continued their dedication to our communities despite the less than desirable circumstances.
As we begin to reopen, the support of our franchises has been one of our top priorities. In addition to our dedication to cleanliness, we joined forces with a network of swimming partners to work with an Aquatics Coalition via USA Swimming to lobby for the safe reopening of purposeful aquatics. With the ability to limit capacity with scheduled lessons, enforce social distancing with swim lane protocol, direct traffic flow and provide PPE to team members, privately owned and instruction-based swim schools are in a much better position to navigate the pandemic and safely reopen in compliance with requirements.
All in all, we were very excited to share our adventure through all of this and dive into our core values with the readers of Franchise Chatter. Our plans of reopening, along with our dedication to our owners and their families, have once again proven how resilient Goldfish Swim School is through a professional and successful franchise network.
