As of this month, two new awards have made their way into our portfolio for 2023 and we’re so excited and proud to share them!

Goldfish Swim School has o-FISH-ally landed two new Entrepreneur awards, ranking on the list of the Best of the Best Franchises in 2023 and the first-ever list of Top Franchise Brands for Multi-Unit Owners.

The Best of the Best Franchises list highlights brands from Entrepreneur’s 2023 Franchise 500 list that ranked Goldfish Swim School #1 in the Children’s Swimming Lessons category. With help from the information submitted by our franchisees and the continued efforts of Entrepreneurs to understand the franchise marketplace, the Best of the Best list was developed!

The list is based on an evaluation of more than 150 data points in areas such as…

  • Costs and Fees
  • Size and Growth
  • Franchisee Support
  • Brand Strength
  • Financial Strength and Stability

The score earned in the Franchise 500 ranking also was factored into developing Entrepreneur’s first ever list of Top Franchise Brands for Multi-Unit Owners! This list identifies brands that have the most appeal for both prospective franchisees that are interested in multi-unit ownership, as well as existing franchisees that are looking to expand their portfolio.

To finalize the list, Entrepreneur asked franchisors questions such as…

  • What percentage of their franchisees own multiple units?
  • What percentage of their brand’s total units are owned by multi-unit franchisees?
  • What is the average number of units owned by each franchisee?
  • Do they sell multiple units or master licenses?
