What kind of support should I expect from Goldfish Swim School?
We stand behind you all the way. From the beginning application through the opening of your school, Goldfish Swim School franchisees receive excellent support. Our qualified and professional staff is available to provide help and guidance. This includes:
- Comprehensive training process and Operations Manual to help guide you in the management of your swim school
- Construction and architectural documents to help you build a a state-of-the-art training facility (first of its kind in Michigan!)
- Business Plan assistance to help in obtaining financing your new swim school
- Site selection assistance (A comprehensive study has already been performed, by our team, to help you pick the site for your new school)
- Pre-opening advertising and promotions assistance
- On-site Grand Opening support
- Grand-Opening assistance (Our staff will help you run your facility for the first week of its operation)
- On-going marketing, advertising, media and public relations support
- A user friendly intranet site to help pass information on to our franchisees in a quick and easy way.
- On-going operational support: phone discussions, written materials, training videos, on-site assistance, etc.
What is the size of a Goldfish Swim School facility?
We require each facility to have a minimum of 7,000 sq. feet.
Will I have an exclusive territory?
Yes. It will be based on demographic data compiled from years of research.
The steps to becoming a Goldfish Franchisee:
- Click this link to send an email to our franchise team. Tell us your name, email, phone, address, how you heard about us, and finally, which area (city and state) you are interested in franchising?
- A member of the Goldfish Swim School Franchising team will contact you to get more information.
- You will be asked to fill out a confidential information form that will provide Goldfish Franchising information about you to see if you are qualified to take on the financial responsibility of a Goldfish Franchise. Once that form is filled out please send it back to this, confidential, fax number 248.220.1552.
- Once it is determined that you are a qualified candidate, we will set up a face to face meeting. We will bring our franchise documents to that meeting, present them to you and have you sign a receipt that states you received our documents. There is a standard 14 day waiting period once you’ve signed the receipt before you can sign the franchise documents and secure your location. (During that 14 day waiting period, we work with you to answer any additional questions you may have about our program. That way, we can help get you as comfortable with a decision as possible by the end of the 14 days)
- If you determine you want to own a Goldfish Franchise, sign the franchise agreement and secure your area.
- Once the above are completed, the search for the best location begins.
- While looking for a location it is a good time to set up your business entities. (We provide you that help in our Confidential Operations Manual)
- Once you find your location, contact the franchisor for final approval. Once that is completed, you sign your lease and then you’re off! We work with you the entire way to help make your franchise the best in class!
